Old friend gone now..miss you

It was in the zone I left, face tired and cold, heart melted by the tears, tipped the bottle back, crawled inside, tried to feel but I could not hide, every side of walking street, every story you write, every child cold, every body cover from the blight of man, cruelity to man, reporter write, camera take the show, sell a few more, just leave it go, and the many left dead on door steps, ages pass but some how we last as a human race. To the grave, how many saved, never to count as done, always another write, man is as cruel as we come. Yesterday on a street as cold and dead, another victim, lasting words read, just life let it go, retired, just write poetry instead, I hope you never grow cold..
