And then, a friend gave me a copy of a program on a floppy called PowerPoint 1. I was hooked and never had any trouble after that creating PowerPoint presentations. And never really feeling the need to use a template or somebody else's creativity.
However, I have noticed that some of my fellow doctoral students seemed uncreative and unable to make reasonable PowerPoint presentations without help. Attending many conferences and watching many dull slide or PowerPoint presentations, I understand that creativity is lacking by many.
You are right about all the resources out there. As a writer, I use Google daily to find information from my writing and if I need to find creative artwork for my poetry presentations. Just keeping up with with all that is out there is a full-time process. Thanks for some hints for those that need it.
