A few are touting that a military response is not a godly thing to do in light of our current demise. They say God is a God of Love, well I have news for you he is also a God of Justice AND war! Here is a copy of a letter sent to someone over-sees who does not understand America's cries for justice!

Dear *Friend*
Your verse from Corinthians is from the new testiment, like I said, after Jesus walked the earth to promote love and god's mercy. As a matter of fact those versus on love are posted on my kitchen and bathroom wall for all to read that visit or live in our home. Truly love is the greatest give of all!

Just because Americans are crying for justice against those that killed our innocent fellow citizans does not mean that in our homes we are angry, violent people. That, my friend, is far from the truth. We love our children, we aplore GENUINE violence and child abuse. But we also defend ourselves against a big government that attempts to overstep it's bounds. We love our children as you do. We are gentle and kind and teach them God's love, the new testiment particularly is very instrumental in this process.

However you must read the old testiment as well. Tempering justice with mercy is a combined effort. But justice is far from left out in the bible. God was the one that caused the flood that wiped out all evil people on the earth mercily sparing Moses and his family because they were faithful followers. Or when he knocked down the walls of Gerico on the evil Phillistine's. Or allowed walls of water to fall on the Egyptions that had held his people in captive for 100 years.

Why did God kick Adam and Eve out of the easy and beautiful Garden of Eden and allowed them a life of hardship. Because they had sinned, there fore causing the downfall of all man.

In Genisis it speaks of Soddom and Gammorah, the two cities that lived in such terrible sexual sin, God sent them a warning but when the cities ignored them God destroyed the evil cities.

Joshua 10: 13
So the sun and moon stood still until the Israelites had defended their enemies. Is this event not recored in the Book of Jashar: The sun stopped in the middle of the sky, and it did not set as a normal day. 14: The Lord fought for Israel on that day. Never before or since has there been a day like that on, when the Lord answered such a request from a human being.

In Ecclesiastes there is a well-known verse of
'There is a time for everything under the Sun'
A time to be born, a time to die,
A time to plant, a time to havrvest,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to rebuild,
A time to cry and a time to laugh,
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away,
A time to scatter and a time to gather,
A time to search and a time to lose,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be quiet and a time to speak up.
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for silence and a time to speak up,
"A TIME FOR WAR AND A TIME FOR PEACE"

I am afraid that in *your country* the word of God may be used commonly against one another. Here the word of God has been ridiculed and belittled until recently. Different cultures I suppose.

You don't have to be frightened that America will be destroying the world in it's efforts to stop terrorism. Our President is a smart Christian man that will ensure we handle this situation carefully as to not cause harm on the innocent. But my friend justice may come swift to those who evily murdered our people. And I believe God hears our cries for justice just as he heard the cries of those nations in the old testiment when they cried out as well.
