I just had the pleasure of reading Karen Vanderlaan’s life journey and I must say I recommend it highly. I used the term life journey instead of auto biography for from page one the writer takes us on a visual trip that triggers all our senses with the life she lived. I have always said a good writer will touch emotions when they write and this book touches them all. In places I cried, I laughed, I was angry and I was disappointed as her life unfolded, but overall I was impressed at her courage and strength to overcome adversity and to give back to a world that seemed to be always taking from her. I didn’t read a book so much as made a friend for reading this felt like one of those rare experiences when you sit down in a coffee shop some where and strike up a conversation with a stranger only to discover by the time an hour or two disappears you now have a new friend.
I forgot about this post Fee...not sure if I told you back in January either that I went to Karen's den after reading this & bought her book & I loved reading it & have shared her story with others too!
