Expression of thoughts about what challenges me when I write.

Freedom from the known is pure freedom. When I write I challenge myself to right beyond what has bored me, to allow unique metaphors, and similes birth upon the page. When I read poetry I here my inner voice saying, this is written in a way that demands my total attention, or saying why is this poem mundane and ordinary.

Pick up your pens, or pick up a book take the challenge as a writer, or reader. How many pundits do your know who are gone? How many feelings have you had never shared? What unique way can words come together to give instant insight? How many times has life changed fast enough, for you to know: Turn away and the moment's gone.
