 Values freedom.

 Values personal originality.

 Authenticity in life experience.

 Cannot seem to find peace within their current social environment.

 Appreciates differences in people, cultures, etc,

 Challenges authority on every level.

 Lives equality, not as a value or principle but as a truth.

 Encourages authenticity.

 Challenge to the status quo.

 Unwitting target for social anger.

 Inspires others to make changes.

 The Rebel archetype is challenging to the person that carries the rebel programing within as much aggressive energy must be dealt with and channeled for positive use.

 Spiritually, the rebel archetype promotes personal contact with God, omits the need for religion, professionals or experts to connect with higher power.

 Has a marked disregard for experts.

 Weakness is that rebel archetype people may adopt values just because they are different from the norm without testing the quality. Can be vulnerable to tricksters that want to take advantage of the rebel's need for change.

 Some other archetypal names that can fall under the rebel are genius, sage, explorer, innovator, inventor and humanitarian, mystic and seeker. You have to discern for yourself if these attributes are part of your rebel program.

Over all Rebel falls under the main category of Destroyer as an archetype since it is a program that is always promoting a state of change by rejecting what is already been established.

 Rebel programming is hard to control but fairly easy to understand and be aware of in one's own make up.

Everyone is going to encounter 'the rebel' within themselves as it is one of those fundamental living experiences however fewer people actually have rebel as part of their life chart programming.

 If you are an active part of a religion and accept and adopt its ways, then there is no rebel in your chart. If you are happy with the status quo and seek out many of the same lifestyle choices as your peers or family members then you do not have rebel in your chart.

 The rebel program is not conducive to following a path that was made by others.

 If you have rebel in your chart, you were seeking a way out of the past, you came back here for change and not to continue with things that have already been done to the point of complacency. You take nothing for granted however there is a tendency to create chaos and turmoil when none is needed to encourage change.

 The rebel archetype creates an aggressive energy within it's user and this energy cannot be denied. It can be channeled and used for very good ends. On this level, aggression is not bad or wrong or negative. It is a force of nature. This is not to be mistaken with violence.

 Sometimes the rebel is associated with being a teenager and while this may be the first stage of our lives where we get to know the archetype in it's universal meaning sense, people that have it in their chart don't experience this program as a fleeting thing.
