On April 7, 2007, Mayor John Land, Longest running Mayor in the United States, appeared live on Central Florida radio talk show.

Mayor Land has been Mayor of Apopka going on 55 years this year. He is still on top of everything, and still hopes to always keep that hometown charm that Apopka is known for.

My Town On The Air- A sister project of Apopka My Town Magazine, is host to a weekly exciting radio talk show covering all of Central Florida.

Magazine Publisher, Shelley Costello is the founder and host of the show, and has teamed up with Annie Greer, business partner, author and radio celebrity as one co-host of the show. In addition, the shows other co-host is a national public speaker, radio celebrity and professional voice spokesperson, Mark Johnson.

The three team up on Saturday mornings at 9:30 on 1520 AM Talk radio, WHIM, to bring Central Florida great programing. You will hear from celebrities, public officials, entertainers and more!
