Passion is the Key!
Have you ever met someone who spoke about their life or their organization with fervor and spirit?
Have you ever wondered how they moved beyond normal living in the day to day drudgery and rut of the nine to five making ends meet?
The Key word is PASSION. With several hundred thousand words in the Webster’s unabridged dictionary, I still find it difficult to find one word to adequately describe this motivation. It is when I lay down after a long day of expending energy and sharing my passion in life with others, that this word struck me.
The word is FERVOR. When I looked it up this is what I found:
Main Entry: fervor 1 : intensity of feeling or expression 2 : intense heat synonym see PASSION.
Yes! I found it! The word that I wanted to describe the way I felt about what I do in life on a daily basis. I has found the one word that would be my reason, my song and my motivation to get up everyday to rush out to the world with excitement and enthusiasm.
The one word that would give me renewed strength just when I think I am running out. We must never run out of that energy. It is contagious! It is motivating! It causes others to desire inside to find their passion for life.
You may ask, "What is the one thing you are most passionate about?" If I were to answer you honestly, I would have to say, "I am most passionate about sharing with others how passion can make a difference in their life." I did discover that as much as I wanted the rest of the world to have this feeling too, you cannot teach people to have passion. You mush show them how to find their passion. Others can sense it in your voice, see it in your eyes and feel it in your spirit. It can spread like wildfire. Passion could very well turn out to be a force that can change our world one person at a time.
When I meet another person like myself, all that is within me screams out, "Bravo You Bold Spirit!" There aren't many of us around. Take time to evaluate your life and determine what you are truly passionate about. Once you have done that, look for ways each day to enter that into your job, your relationships and your recreation. Add little doses of passion into small areas of everything you do.
Try to be consciously aware of your actions. You may have to find just one small thing you are passionate about and act on that. It is a start. Don't keep waiting because each day will continue to pass you by. A small start is better than no start at all. You will be surprised how rich and full you will feel at the end of the day. Find the things in your life that you passionate about!
