If there is any hope, the letter ‘d’ needs to drop off that word ‘devolution.’ Not looking too good about that.

I feel your pain. Although we may be going a bit further back than that if Ed Phillips's assumptions are correct. Still, if you remember, the children of the 1950s sensed something different, resulting in the 1960s.
