but this is just one aspect of "love".
to be in love and to love are two different things.
so is loving and liking. you can like someone without loving them. I suppose that a "general love for all mankind" is felt by some, and me imparticular. so this is quite different than intimate love.
watching my parents break apart after seeing them together so long is devestating. during my little Thanksgiving break, I will visit Dad for sure and I still need to discuss things with "Mom"(not biological, but my Mom).
I don't know every detail of their problems, every reason for the separation, or how they truly feel about each other now.
perhaps I am writing this out of hope or concern.
when you think you are done - you think you must leave someone and end the relationship altogether and you feel there is no hope - consider this. how would you feel if the one thing they did that made you very angry hadn't happened? is it the principle of the matter or is it really vital that things end at this point?
just a thought.
when I get out of class and decide to cook him dinner for when he gets home from work, that isn't a task. I love him and want him to eat something nutritious and satisfying.
one should always consider that words are just sounds exerted from random thought, but actions are things that take time and thought and real determination.
