A few thoughts of mine and others (quoted)…some may be comical or imaginative, some inspirational, some…all too true !
“Old” is a state of mind; it’s surprising how long the mind takes to catch up with the body.
Man (collectively) never stands so tall as when stooping to help a child.
“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count; it’s the life in your years” – Abraham Lincoln
Something I heard years ago: always be a good listener; your ears will never get you in trouble.
By just being ourselves, we will always be in fashion.
If we take care of ourselves, we will find the time to help take care of others.
If your mouth gets you in trouble, blame it on the tongue covering your eye-teeth - you couldn’t see what you were saying.
“I’ve learned…that the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.” – Andy Rooney
There truly are more rewards in giving than receiving.
“It’s easy to forget what’s important. So don’t.” – Michael Keaton in “Mr Mom”
“Old age — ain’t no place for sissies.” – Bette Davis
Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened.
Birthdays are good for you; the more you have, the longer you live.
Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.
“Self-sacrifice is never entirely unselfish, for the giver never fails to receive.” — Dolores E. McGuire
How ironic that the process of “nagging” begins about the same time as the process of “sagging” - for both genders.
Why is it everyone else is early when you’re running late? Or vice versa?
Try not to regret the things you did, but definitely regret those you didn’t do…maybe it ain’t too late…
