So the pseudonym proved that people buy what they know and are familiar with.
That makes it even more important for AD members to pick up books by those they know here on AD. Sales and name recognition far outweigh the great title you thought up, the thrill of the ride your book provides, or the deeply heard and felt message in your book.
If nobody knows who you are, sales tend to sit precariously low.

Stephen King's latest, Under the Dome, has been described as a hit that has everyone hooked. Stephen King has written a lot of crap that people read anyway. I have seen some of his bad, long forgotten, movies and some good ones like The Green Mile. Of course, I am intrigued by all the hype and have been watching each episode. So far, I'm totally unimpressed, even though there is a lot of drama in all the little sub plots going on. Hopefully, King will pull a rabbit out of the hat before the end of this dud before it is canceled.
