What a bang it was for me on July 4th!
No, not from the fireworks.
I went to see and hear the movie, "Sound of Freedom," on Independence Day at a local theater.
What a tragedy human trafficking is as I became more cognizant of it per this movie featuring Jim Caviezel, who 'Passion'-ately conveyed the reality of it in an Oscar winning manner!
The movie is based upon a real life story of Tim Ballard, a former US government agent, who quit his job in order to devote his life to rescuing children from global sex traffickers.
As noted in the movie and afterwards by Jim Caviezel: "God's children are not for sale!"

I just watched Blood Diamond with Leonardo DiCaprio and a great actor playing the part of an African fisherman found a huge diamond while working with kids in the bloodthirsty diamond fields of Sierra Leone during the Civil War there. Child labor is still rampant worldwide
