OK, interceptions which would have normally been sent out immediately-- were prevented from doing so for over an hour and a half although the air force base was only eleven miles away from the Pentagon. You want me to consider that our own government even helped stage those attacks? You are simply out of your mind. I retort to all that protest in my head: Beneath the pressure to be loyal to my country right or wrong, I recognize from my training as a substance abuse counselor that such taboos are replicate the unspoken rules applying to families in which a parent is an alcoholic: to not think, not feel not talk... especially about the problem parent/alcoholic. And I think of George Bush and his past alchoholism and involvement in AA. I think about how so many people who have had to fight psychosis or addiction or both find solace in fundamentalist religions, while maintaining the rules protecting the alcoholic leader.
And I cringe at the unspoken rule of the land which says above all else- support the increase of the gross national product. And right now it's oil we need before our supply dries up and the prices go through the roof.
I know, people like me aren't nice. It's not nice to be so un-Christian in our presentation, so untidy , opinionated and emotional. We are too shrill. We are and always have been out of fashion. Furthermore we are considered by the take-a-chill-pill pundits to be out of our minds.
In a country where someone stealing the presidency and waging a phony war is overlooked rather than cause for his impeachment, I am the one who is nuts. In a country where a president can be impeached for getting oral sex and another can continue after lying to and ignoring the whole world, I am nuts?
The system rules, it's all we've got, just like that alcoholic parent so many depended upon as children. We have learned if not in the home, then in schools or churches or synagogues to bond with the one who controls. We truth nuts are unkind, unfriendly, an enemy of the State for screaming that the emperor wears no clothing.... For Screaming.
If we really had it together we would supply only facts. But not the ones that point to our own blindness. What good can that possibly do? So what if we continue to do business with the very ones we blame? So what if they've been set up? [So what if Oswald was a patsy and if King's assasin was really the CIA?]

Wait, FIRST listen, THEN reject if need be: If you don't like that metaphor, think perhaps of yourself as someone who bonded to a mother who was an alcoholic but to whom your allegiance was to keep her secret until. The truth is that if we can tease apart the truth from the lies, we can all add to tipping the balance towards truth from the present system which is built upon deception.
The truth- my truth, is that although I shall tell you how bad our own president is, beyond your wildest imaginings, how bad the little State residing within our country is; I wince at your potential rejection, your reaction (as one editor of what I had believed to be a leftist journal did. Frankly, he went wild at me). So I need this introduction and also I need to tell you a few things before you shut the door on me: We said "Never Again," and "It can’t happen in America" (North). We say yes though the shrub is a liar (Bush) and we do not like him, it is certainly an overreaction and a gross one to compare him to someone who would kill a whole race of people. It is hysterical and even if it were true what possible good could come from knowing this?

A citizen on the street was calling out to the immigrants to go back home. I cried that would mean us too, all of us that are not Native Americans. We are all intruders in this land, not just those who have been framed for the terrorism that of 9/11. And soon I got to my complaint that it was a sham: the quick explanations we were too neatly and promptly given, the movies we watched over and again of the planes crashing; how they emulated adventure movies! We were a captive audience, glued to the sets, shocked into trance, hypnotized as we repeatedly watched the planes crash as if we were watching a suspended hypnotic device and we were ready to retalliate! All evidence but the flight papers of the hijacker were gone. The black box, the telling signs. It was all so neat. So convenient. We had our instant man to go get, no mystery there. REACT now! So what if the firefighters weren't allowed to find their comrades and the investigators were whooshed away from the debris. So what if metal can not melt from fire or fire from those airplanes did not reach anywhere near the temperatures necessary to bend metal. Let the laws of physics be altered for that one day. And so what if the evidence was shipped off within eleven days and a plan by Controlled DemolitionsInc (the same company hired to clean up the suspicious Oklahoma City bombing) melted down in an astoundingly quick eleven days. You just want to forget. Get even, then forget.

BUT- You've been, we've all been-- set up.

The crashes came replete with a title: 911! Call for Emergency! REACT! Yes the planes they did crash into the towers but no, not according to the before and afterwards lies we were told. Let me shed one more light on why it can and is happening here: when Hitler was coming into power, he hired thugs to burn the German parliament (ie the Rieshtag
Fire) and then he conveniently blamed it communists in order to then suspend civil rights in the country before staging his attack on the Jews.
And this strategy goes back to Nero and Rome. And in 1962- read up on Operation Northwoods which conveniently provided a justification for Northwoods intervention inCuba.*


The strategy of staging horrific acts as a political maneuver to set people up to react and wage war when there is not ample cause is nothing new.
You think perhaps Americans are different from the Germans. But me, I can not possibly imagine that when the rumors began that he was constructing those ovens and for that purpose, anyone believed such a thing. It was just too freaking preposterous. Yet this is why Hitler
himself wrote in Mein Kampft that the more outrageous the thing you do is; the more possible it is to get away with it.No one will believe you when you tell them what the boss is actually doing. How preposterous to imagine that the gangsters in Washington, as bad as they may be, the ones who performed a coup right under our noses to get Bush into office could be as deceptive and murderous as Hitler.

Well some of us do know that it is the lie that is the most dangerous thing; and not the pain we will feel or the humiliation that we have been so thoroughly duped.
Over time the truth comes out and even now you can research the ample body of hard core data to prove that it was an incredible atrocity and an even greater cover up that you and I lived through on 9/11 and after which life just plain hasn’t been as good. It was the end of innocence but not yet the beginning of a transformation of consciousness that all the religions of the world have prophesized for the coming of a new age of peace and love that underlies all of our angers and desires-- our birthright.
