what a dandy resource you are providing, I love geography, taught beginning geography to K 1 students for years, am saddened that in our modern day the subject is not more taught, so many can locate states, or nations on a map, set out across our country relying on outside help to guide their travel and do not even own a map of their own state. sigh

Geography has almost disappeared from schools these days and GPS allows people to go mindlessly from one location to another without paying any attention the route they took or what they passed. Soon, automated driving will take even driving away.
I think your website is wonderful for children to learn about the state of Texas. Actually, Google maps and Wikipedia have opened up a wealth of information about location worldwide. Interactive sites like yours can provide children the way to learn geography they won't get in schools.
