Every generation has seen intractable threat intent in the banishment or slaughter of the Jewish people. Today it is Iran. In no uncertain terms, Iran’s words have been, “Wipe Israel off the Map.” By doing so, they believe it will result in a world war of destruction that will bring their Messiah back. Iran is developing or has developed that technology in the form of nuclear weapons.

            In the past, the Jews looked to Franklin Roosevelt for help. None came. Presently, they are blindly putting their trust in the Obama administration for the same purpose. But this administration will behave the same as before. There will be no difference because of the blood still being spilled in Iraq and in Afghanistan.

            The time for a two state solution in the Mid East is past. It is a mythical view at best. A two state solution will not cause Osama Bin Laden to call a stop to Jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood to embrace Western Democracy or the Shi’ia and Sunni to stop blowing each other up in Iraq. Europeans have been negotiating with Iran for some time now and all they have achieved has not stopped Iran from continuing to build nuclear weapons.

            When Saddam’s Osirak Nuclear Reactor was destroyed by Israel, there were a lot of unhappy people, among them a U. S President. However, ten years later, he was happy because Desert Storm was much easier, if not possible, because of it. Perhaps Obama will one day see the benefits off Israel destroying Iran’s nuclear threat.

            So what is Israel to do? Iran will not hesitate one minute to use a nuclear weapon to “Wipe Israel off the Map.” Anyone who thinks they can negotiate or sit down and talk rationally with Iran is living in a mystical fantasy land and does not have a firm grasp on reality. May God help and guide us.
