There’s only one way to break bad news to someone, and that is …SAY IT!SAT IT!….
T.V. Announcer: Mrs. Popular CEO of a Fortune 500 Company is said to pregnant by a high ranking 20 yr junior, official in her company at age 56. The recent discovery of the affair via email and social media revealed some intimate details of the almost five year tryst with said official.
Company Spokesperson:
Unfortunately, misinformation gets out through unauthorized leaks in our business all the time. Mrs. Popular CEO of said Fortune 500 Company is not really pregnant… She’s kinda pregnant..(HUh?) Some one happen to see her shopping for infants clothing in a nearby state, which so happens to be for a constituent, who is a very close friend to Mrs. popular CEO.
The two pictures at the top of this Blog represent 1) Your Brain(picture of the doctor delivery bad news) and 2) your Thinking(smiling girl looking at spinning top)
Did you notice the colors I use ?… The red like color delivered the bad news, whilst the calming purplish color softened the blow. Very important, humans think with eyesight, we visualize everything, so you must soften the blow when bad news comes your way.
The world Delivers bad news to you everyday, almost every hour, thank s to the internet, but you don’t have to accept it, put a spin on it…That’s right just like you saw the spokesperson do in the exchange above( no such thing as KINDA PREGNANT, but i’m sure you get the idea)…hence, the title…” Spin Doctor”.
You probably heard this term(Spin Doctor) a lot over the past twenty or so years, and you are definitely going to hear it a lot in the next few months, considering our upcoming Presidential race of back and forth derogatory comments from both candidates.
Remember, Not to believe everything the Doctor(your Brain) AKA the World says, and of course, you can always change your spin(Your thinking) on the subject.
Peace, Love and Joy

I'm with you when it comes to putting a positive twist on bad news. Yesterday I had to answer someone who wrote things are very bad in this country. Yes, there is anger boiling up all around over certain subjects that the media pounces on because it is sensational. But there really is nothing new and nothing really dire except for a couple of things that people seem to ignore that are underlying all the problems that are being raised. We are all survivors of horrific times in our families' past. The way that we survived under these horrific conditions was to keep our heads and a positive outlook like you have shown us.
