Friends are great. Consider yourself lucky if you have one, maybe two loyal, committed friends in your life.

Friends will also lie to you in an attempt to hold you back. They will tell you that you have lost your mind, with your uneducated, unknowledgeable self diving into an area of business or life in which you have no training.

The truth is, they are a little…no, alot jealous and envious of your courage to soar leaving them behind in average Ville.  That little voice of that “so called” friend(s) stays in your head and causes you to put the brakes on your dream.  You still pursue it, but not full force as you would without that voice in your head from your FRIEND.

Les Brown puts it beautifully…” Most people are not living their dreams, they are living their fears.”

Take the Brakes off, and run like the wind as if there is no tomorrow, because in essence there isn’t any tomorrow…It’s  all happening right now. You are either living your dream or someone else’s. Take the brakes off and Live out your dream.

Peace, Love and Joy

You have spoken a powerful truth! Fear, insecurities, and negative comments from those who are suppose to be "supportive," can make one doubt, but those of us who are bold and determined to share what we have to give because of its value, will find a way to move beyond limiting beliefs, even the negative comments from so called friends.
Thanks for sharing, and continued success.

You are absolutely right. Unfortunately, close friends you have a tendency to want to keep you locked in their circle of activity. I haven't known a close friend that didn't restrict me in one way or another.

On the other hand, as a teacher and a mentor, I have always encouraged others to move out far beyond their current level of activity.
