How To Live Life Like Goldilocks. Just Right.

Most of us live our lives bouncing back and forth between two opposite extremes.

Sometimes we're ultra shy, other times we're loud and obnoxious.

Sometimes we have zero motivation, other times we can't wait to get started.

It's easy why we are this way. After all, the entirety of nature is based on cycles which oscillate from one state to the opposite state. Darkness, and light. Low tide and high tide, expansion and contraction. Cycles are embedded into everything from the smallest organisms to the largest economies.

Our brains even switch back and forth between conscious and unconscious.

When thinking, acting, and creating, there are also two opposite extremes. One that is totally unconscious, and one that is totally conscious.

When we are totally unconscious, we don't have any clue what we're doing. Or that we're even doing something. It just happens on it's own.

Like when you get behind the wheel, start driving and suddenly wonder what happened to the last ten minutes.

Other times we're totally awake, alert, and conscious. Usually when doing something unfamiliar, or there is some kind of expected negative result if we fail. Like if you just finished up a dinner party and was carrying a huge stack of dishes carefully back to the sink. You would be on high alert, your eyes would be hyper-focused, and every step would be taken with utmost care and concern.

Which mindset is best for manifesting?

Either one, on it's own, is not enough. If you are too unconscious, you'll end up somewhere and wonder what the heck just happened. If you're too focused, you'll miss out on all the different ways you could be doing things.

The best place to be is the magic middle. A perfect balance between conscious and unconscious thought. That border between the rational mind, and the massive computational power of your unconscious mind.

I watched this action movie the other night, and a couple of the characters jumped off this tall building, and had these super ninja gliding type parachutes.

Before they pulled their chutes, they had this webbing that came out between their bodies and their arms, so they could glide in between all the buildings until they got to where they landed.

This is a good metaphor for creation. As you're gliding through life, you are being carried by forces much powerful that yourself. If you try and control ALL of them, you'll get blown into the side of a building.

But if you simply accept those forces without needing to understand them, and give yourself a few directional conscious nudges when needed, you'll end up landing EXACTLY where you want to.

If you want to LIVE your life that way, check this out:

I was thinking about how some people take huge risks that either end up immensely successful or down and out. You have shown another way to be creative while maintaining the middle between the unconscious and conscious mind. I tend to agree with that, although there are times when I just let the unconscious take over and relax, because I find that to finish a task often requires great focus by the conscious mind.

By the way, I drive with a highly sensitive and operated gas brake system and "magic" steering system both with tri-pins to keep my paralyzed hands engaged and don't use my feet because I can't. The steering is zero pressure so it is very sensitive. With a system like this there is no chance to "zone out" because my van would immediately lose control. During eight hour driving stretches, I never get sleepy or move into the subconscious mind, because I have to remain ever vigilant for every little bump, wind gust, or uneven pavement to keep the van on the straight and narrow. Unbelievably, it's exercise and I feel better after long stretches of driving than just sitting there in my wheelchair.
