Prophecy's Extra Oil 67: Log Cabins and Prayer

Log Cabins: Everyone might recall Jesus' words, "When you see the Abomination of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel, standing in this holy place where he ought not to be, then flee to the mountains and watch for me in the clouds." Now, remember that He and the Apostles had left the Temple and were walking in the City; therefore, He was not talking about the Abomination "standing" in the Holy Temple.

It was learned in 2005 that the Abomination had been seen, not once but twice, in the Holy City of Jerusalem as early as 1993: we reported to our brothers and sisters at that time and again just recently. The first time he was filmed kissing the Wailing Wall. Jesus knew this last church age would find cities being the most dangerous places for His remnant flocks: heavily populated with the majority populations in a rage and prepared to strike God's Doctrine Keepers, whom they blame for all of earth's ills— which action is to "curse God." Bear in mind, though, that Jesus also warned, "Be sure your flight is not in the winter nor on the Sabbath day." As Jesus obeyed the Seventh Day, so must we.

A new found remnant Brother, Paul of Oregon, recently contacted us with a vision he had had some time ago and was happy to share it with us. He also shared with us that his brother Waldo also has the gift of prophecy and has been speaking the same timeframe for Christ's return as have we: "no later than mid-Oct to mid-Nov 2011." Paul noted that he and his brother had begun to think they stood and spoke alone; a feeling we know all to well. So, it was quite a blessing to hear from Paul.

In Paul's vision he saw a large log cabin up in the mountain wilderness. Gathered there were he and other remnant brothers and sisters living off the land, owing no man, and patiently waiting for Christ to arrive. Paul owns such a cabin and currently plans a move there very soon, the location of which is "need to know" data that will be given to only those who live God's Word, His Ten Statutes and have the faith of and in Jesus Christ: no "flattering lips" allowed.

Considering what is about to happen, we feel everyone understands this "need to know" policy as a way to protect all fleeing sheep when the violence begins full force. If we had known, we would have fled in 1993; so, the sooner the better. 

Brother Paul's vision was very similar to a novella published many years ago, "Project Sunlight," that told of a small group of Doctrine Keepers, influenced by an angel, who finally had to flee the cities and found themselves joining others at a mountain retreat. Alas, bounty hunters found them and were about to kill them when— Voila! — Christ arrived in the clouds, snatched them up to Him, and left behind dead those who were set to murder His small flock.

Some 29 years ago, we purchased and gave away several hundred copies of the book; for "Project Sunlight" is a beautifully told story, complete with validating verse references, and it might still be available today either through Southern Publishing or Amazon.com. One recipient of the book comes to mind: she, from Oklahoma, was in the Texas hospital's ICU waiting room preparing to see her son who had been critically injured in a motorcycle wreck. He was not expected to live, so a copy of the book was given her in the hope it would ease her pain during the agonizing hours ahead. The next day, she and her son were gone and it was feared he had died.

A year later, the phone rang one day and it was that woman: "I just came across the book again and wanted to call to let you know how much peace it gave us. Our son did live and without much in the way of permanent damage, though there was some recovery time here at our home in Oklahoma. My husband, on the other hand, died just a few months later. "Project Sunlight" and your wonderful message inside got me through all this. I am so grateful for your gift."

She made our day, for her call came at a time when it seemed no one was listening to God's Truth, to His warnings and to the times being shared. Rarely do we have the opportunity to know if the seeds we plant then spout; but, when it will serve to our encouragement at a time when we are weary and feeling useless, God always gives us a quick peek. Everything we do and say is to plant seeds and, while we may never know the outcome, much good will be reaped where and when it should be. So, keep planting seeds! After all, we have the lukewarm and cold still to reach. And we are!

Schools & Prayer:

It is amazing what one atheist was able to get removed from our schools and, because of it, the utter chaos and deaths that have ensued since then. Brother Frank in England sent the following: A new Pledge of Allegiance and School prayer by a 15yo unnamed Arizona student. Neither our Pledge of Allegiance nor the Lord's Prayer are allowed in public schools because the word "God" is mentioned in both; thus the teen offered a new school prayer in poetic form:

Now I sit me down in school

Where praying is against the rule

For this great nation under God

Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,

It violates the Bill of Rights.

And, anytime my head I bow

Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,

That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.

The law is specific, the law is precise.

Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall

Might offend someone with no faith at all.

In silence alone we must meditate,

God's name is prohibited by the State.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,

And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks. . .

They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.

To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,

And the 'unwed day,' our Senior King. . .

It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,

We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth controls,

Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.

But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,

No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,

When chaos reigns, the school's a mess.

So, Lord, this silent plea I make:

Should I be short, my soul please take!

AMEN

We must say, the poem was beautifully written and makes very strong points about what has happened to our young people since prayer was removed from schools. BonnieQ recalls being on the devotional council when in high school, remembering that regardless of what little skirmishes were going on before prayer, the remainder of the day was always calmer after prayer. Regardless of having lived in the Bible Belt, her school had students who either did not believe in the Pledge of Allegiance or did not believe in God. They did not complain; they just did not participate. So be it, for everyone is entitled by God to have their own opinion; right or wrong. But, no one has the right to force their opinions upon others, especially by that one person—

Indeed, Madeline O'Hare single-handedly brought to fruition God's warning that, in these end of days, the "children shall rise up lawless." And, so they have in numbers so huge it is staggering. As Pope John Paul II said on his deathbed, when advised that the courtyard was filled to overflowing with young people, "I called and you have come." Satan knows no boundaries. Praise the Lord, he is about to the feel the pinch of prison loneliness and only his future destruction upon which to think.
