Rant ...Rant... Just a Rant....
of sorts?

How do you acquire, have, keep or even stumble into or through relationships built on secrets and lies? Why does one learn to live with, tolerate, accept and go on with it all? Really, it is so absurd as to be laughable -- if the pain didn't cut through that morass, so deeply wounding the spirit, heart and aching mind from time to time. On second thought, perhaps not so laughable after all. Absurd, yes.
Plunging further into the pit, one begins to...to what? Believe? Pretend? What? Yeah, what?
Lies beget lies beget lies beget minds full of wasted longings and damned hopes. Secrets beget lies beget denial beget misery and broken hearted spirits, with nowhere to go but down. Down further and further until death does it part.
One broken soul can only take so much, but hey, there is a good game called 'Let's Pretend' and it works! Really. But not for long...
It all sneaks up and eats away at you, sometimes without you even knowing that this disease has become a part of you. It has become a part of life. Life? Routine.
Hell is here. Hell is living in this pit full of so many lies bred by secrets that were nothing to begin with. Bitter Irony, that.
No, I don't suppose you want to hear this. Who would? Why bother?
Bother because it bothers and more. Move or lose.
Insane, isn't it? Buying small secrets to bide time and the numbness grows and expands and billows it's hidden heartache into reality, eventually -- if not sooner.
Ramblings.

~sigh~ so, what can one do? Think. and Care... yeah!
John Lennon sang 'How can i give love when i don't know what it is i'm giving.' In other words some of us are are so emotionally illiterate that love gets lost in the miry pit of mixed emotions. It struggles to emerge from those lies, deceit and betrayel, it is often subordinat to these. Thing is, its gatekeeper is the one who tells you that he or she loves you. Really?
Evocative 'rant', Micha, but riddled through and through with substance. I felt it. Been there a thousand frowns before.
