Involved with women in Canada's north for a decade, Toni reflects in this short essay on, 'the changing woman' in Canada's North, and the progress they made in the '80's socially, politically and economically.
Toni changes the title from 'The Changing Role of Women' to "The Changing Woman' as there appears to be more hope for change for women than from the community or government. This piece comes from a book called GOSSIP put out by a northern oriented Ottawa based group to reflect on and about the status of women north of 60 degrees latitude.
