When will a Gun Control law be enacted by the Congress and signed by the President?
U.S. Constitution - Second Amendment - "A well regulated militia, being necessary for the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
U.S. Constitution - Article one, Section two - "Any person who was not free would be counted as three-fifth of an individual. This infamous provision of the Constitution adopted in 1789 decreed that a slave be counted as three-fifth of an individual. In reality a slave was not counted as an individual but as property of a slave master.
The number of deaths caused by Gun Shooters needed to compel members of Congress to enact a Gun Control Act is inevitable. It is just a matter of when the enough number of people killed is reached. What didn't, maybe couldn't happen in 400 years in America to effect enactment of gun control legislation as many other countries have done is on the fast-tract to happen because of the exponential increase in deaths resulting from gun shootings.
The speed in which the enough number of gun killings will be reached will depend upon which people are killed by gun shooters. When people like those in Congress who were attacked by White Supremacists on January 6, 2021 on the White House, owners of gun manufacturers and their family members and people considered by the masses to be more important than most people in society are killed by gun shooters this will speed-up the length of time necessary for Congress to enact a meaningful Gun Control Act..
The Capitol Insurrection consisted of a plot of White Supremacy people who attempted to overturn the presidential result. On Wednesday January 6, 2021 a joint session of Congress was set to convene in the U.S. Congress to certify Joe Biden's electoral vote win. Meanwhile thousands of Donald Trump supporters gathered near the White House to hear him speak at noon. A mob of 2,000 - 2,500 supporters, some with guns and other weapons of former President Donald Trump attacked the Capitol Building in Washington D. C. They sought viciously to overturn his defeat in the 2020 presidential election by disrupting the joint session of Congress assembled to count electoral votes that would formalize Joe Biden's victory.
There is a correlation between the increasing number of people killed by gun shooters and Congress enacting gun legislation. It is clear that nobody, whether that person be black or white, rich or poor, male or female, young or old is excluded from being killed by a gun shooter. In the present gun shooting climate i America the question is: Should the Government provide gun stamps for the homeless and poor people to purchase guns just as they received food stamps to buy food. After all, a dead person cannot eat. Everyone deserves equal protection under the law.
Americans have 4 million guns..more guns than people, 40 percent of all guns owned by people in the world. America has more people incarcerated than any other country and more people killed with guns.This is evidence of America's exceptionalism.

In the first four months of 2022 there have been 214 mass shootings and more than 17,000 people killed by gun shooters, including 10 people killed at the Buffalo super market and 21 killed at Robb Elementary School in Texas.
To reiterate, the enough number of deaths by gun shooters will surely be attained that will cause members of Congress to enact a Gun Control Act. This matter of having a gun to protect one's self is an illusion, the same as having security.There isn't any security. Be aware that a person with a gun can be disarmed or divested of his gun and killed with his own gun by two or three persons who do not have a gun. Sadly, about twenty percent of gun deaths are suicides.
A person's color, as was true with being three-fifth of a person and the lynching era for African Americans, or his status will no longer exempt him from being killed by a gun shooter. It is now equal opportunity to die from being killed by a gun shooter.
Today, the rest of the world is looking with disbelief and disdain at America and so-called American exceptionalism. America is the number one jailer of the world and the number one nation having the largest number of people killed by gun shooters.
The tragic enough number that you don't want to be included in is swiftly approaching. Be alert. During the Korean War when I was a soldier in the Army, my trainer said, "There are two kinds of soldiers, an alert soldier and a dead soldier." Take heed. Watch and pray.

The 3/5 inclusion in the Constitution needs to be edited out! The primary cause of death to children is now gunshot.
Two weeks ago, a member of a Mexican gang, Lopez, incarcerated under two life sentences, was being transferred without guard to another prison. He somehow got out of his handcuffs and the cage separating him from the driver and killed the driver with a knife, crashing the bus with time for him to get on the run. About five days ago, he came upon a summer home of a strong, healthy grandfather in his 50s with his three grandsons, 19, 16, and 10. As well as a grandnephew, also about 10.
There were guns in the household and all of them knew how to use them. But this hardened criminal, Lopez, with only a knife, stabbed some of them to death and others with the grandfather's guns. When police blew out all the tires on the grandfather's truck, Lopez opened up on the police with an AR-15 and other weapons he had stolen. Fortunately, police killed him without any police casualties. But the criminal could have killed a lot more with those weapons.
