I have been congratulated for navigating through the worst period of time in my life. Cancer. When anyone hears the word Cancer, whether you have it,
had it, may get it, panic sets in. Clearly those who
congratulate someone for surviving death has no idea
the fear and punishment that one word brings.
Success for me is not described as Cancer.
The change to ones life and those around you are, well
frankly weird. Weird how people try to be happy, positive, uplifting, encouraging you to go forth and conquer the world. Trust me when I tell you, I am not in a position to conquer anything. Not a day goes by, not a minute without this little voice, saying is it really gone? Is it back? OMG, not again.
What shocked me the most about the big "C" were the
changes brought not to me but my family and others.
I will go deeper in upcoming blogs.
I'm really curious to know if my experience has been
unique or if it is something no one wants to talk about?
Can't wait to find out?
