HAPPY NEW YEARS!
As promised, today we begin one of many new “chapters” for 1 S.O.U.L. We will begin distributing a daily discussion titled “The Daily Manna.” It is a play on word similar to the Daily News but instead of merely reporting what’s going on in the world around us, we will share “manna.” As most of us know manna is popularly known as the “food miraculously supplied to the Israelites in their journey through the wilderness” but in our sense we use it in its second meaning of “divinely supplied spiritual nourishment” which will hopefully from time to time provide its third meaning as well, “a usually sudden and unexpected source of gratification, pleasure, or gain.” Some have correlated this manna with prana, which is...
