Publishing the Second Book- Pieces of the Quilt 4/18/2009 8:40:39 PM
Some information on Self-Publishing. In a month or so my second book, Pieces of the Quilt: The Mosaic of An African American Family, will be available. I believed writing a second book would be easier, and to some extent it was. Yet, even though I have plenty of material, and more resources at my fingertips, it was a daunting task. The second book is a narrative, while Notes And Documents of Free Persons of Color, had more illustrations, and cited information. So it was a different project with different expectations. My hope is that the book will reach a general office, and inspire those who desire to research their family history.
