USAF Ramblings

I joined the Naval reserve while in High School. Soon after graduation I fell in love and became engaged. One thing led to another, "Love...Marriage....! Anyway I decided the Navy was not optimal for a newly-wed! (Sea Duty etc.) So I joined the Air Force!
Next.... Lackland AFB....! (stay tuned!)

Basic Military Training was really fun. I had been a scout and a woodsman for years. I suppose that I was already pretty well self-desciplined. That was half the battle in itself. I thoroughly enjoyed the rifle range and became an "Expert" marksman! (Just like shooting squirrels in E. Texas!) 10/28/10 BDG

After Lackland AFB it was off to Biloxi/Kessler AFB for Electronics maintenance school. (Radio and Radar repair) That lasted a full year. Then my young bride and I were off to Lincoln AFB, NE
