This movie is great, so great it inspired me write. A modern day Julia, played by Amy Adams, is a disillusioned writer who decides to start a blog. She mixes her look of cooking with writing. Her topic, Julia Child. The modern day Julia cooks, and writes her way through the Julia Child cookbook.This movie is great, so great it inspired me write. I think I am going to try bogging again. I started doing it and I do it frequently about everything but me. There are some associates that have started personal blogs and I guess I am jumping on the bandwagon.
For my first post I am going to make a confession, it is horrific, really it is. As a writer it is catastrophic but I am not sure I am ashamed. My confession is this. I love books, I love to read books, but I have not actually lost myself in a book since…well…the last Harry Potter Book—Deathly Hallows. I know, I know, it is truly awful isn’t it?
I have no excuse besides life. Now I have read a few books recently, but not really immersed myself in them. I have been too busy writing to be reading. There is that old saying that you have to reads to write. So does this confession make me a horrible writer? I hope not, but I should read…more. This begs the question of what to read? If I had the time, made the effort what would I read?
Should I read the competition? Should I read the top billing authors of my genre? Who are they? See how pathetic I am? So I did a little research and here is the list I have come up with…

These are in no particular order and I am thinking I need to challenge myself. So I am going to do some more research and read each of these writers, one book each and review them. I think I can do it….maybe.
