which author is your favorite, your pattern, your mentor, your ....? The first novel I completed (as a teen) was "Gone With Wind." Oh, how i envisioned each character. Then there were others, my romance developed into love with Buck and Cather, then Michener and Herriot. There are many more, but these stand out. Their prose, their description of persons and place are so easy on my mind...does this tell you, the reader, something about my writing or...
How about you? Do you have a favorite? Is your style similar to another or NO! totally different, with its own uniqueness?
