Time to celebrate! Shadows 2nd birthday!
Today is my male cockers 2nd birthday. I got him a few months before I lost my 16 yr old female one. He was a birthday present from my oldest son. I named him Shadow. I suppose there is no need to say why. I plan to make him a cake with can dog food in the batter so it will be a balanced diet for him and ice it with can dog food and add some kibbles and bits to take the place of sprinkles. I bought him a new chew toy and some treats for a present. Shadow is a black mid size male with white below his neck running into his chest. He is very smart but mule headed and spoiled to the bone. He loves my grand daughter so much! When he hears my sons truck pull up he starts wagging what little bit of a tail he has and can't wait for her to come in the door. Once in, he is all over her giving her kisses. I think I will take him to the lake tonight and let him go swimming. That will be a real treat for him. I might even take him to Macdonnalds for a ice cream. He started having seizures several months back after an accident and the vet told me to give him ice cream to give him carbs after it was over. He is addicted now! He hasn't had a seizure now for over a month, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHADOW!
