Morning Routine for a mum in Istanbul 5/17/2005 12:54:54 PM
I found myself dashing around like wonderwoman, trying to be punctual here and there...Wake up, wake the girls, Prepare breakfast, Feed them, Clothe them, Brush their hair into various assortments of ponytails and braids alongside with fantastic hair-clips and colourful ribbons, As they usually end up crying and not liking their hair anyway, Shouting continously as I keep reminding them that we shall be late at this rate, As my elder daughter starts crying out of worry, Dash off and drive like a mad woman to school as I try to catch the final bell, Plus listening to the nagging of the kids on the way, "Mommy this, Mommy that..." It never ends, Duplicates of daddy, A job well-accomplished by them, I catch assembly, Pack them off with a kiss and prayer, Then dash back home to His highness awaiting breakfast.... I am tired already, Remembering and writing up my morning routine has exhausted me- Not to bore all of you- I will try to continue on the morrow :))
