Writing a book isn't easy. However, the secret to creating something people really connect with is rather simple.
It's great if you are scrupulous in matters of grammar and spelling, better still if, in addition, you have an exciting plot and engaging characters.
If you want your story to be the kind that keeps people turning pages, you have to be willing to share more than just the cool ideas out of your head. You have to get personal. You have to put a bit of your soul into it. It can be painful, but it's worth it.
