Love is such a gift!!
Why is it when you're in love, the world seems brighter, colors more vivid, everything seems so intense. I love being in love. There is so much to discover about each other, so much to share.
I wake up every morning smiling now, eager to greet the day. And to anticipate seeing his face at some point. What a joy to finally after long years of waiting to find someone who truly understands and loves without holding back any part of himself. No careless indifference, no harsh caring criticism, just a loving acceptance.
Even the fright at being stalked has dulled to a slight ache, like a burr in ones shoe. I suppose time has a way of blunting even that. Fear as a steady diet, ultimately becomes.. boring. Life is good. :)
