So, with authors from my own stables being non-co-operative type personalities, I had to arrange my own mini-tours. With some success so far. Last Saturday I did a reading at the Porlock Literary Festival with Margaret Drabble, Graham Harvey and Betty Rowlands to a sell-out audience. Though I doubt that I was the one the audience paid to come and hear.
Next up is a launch of a new collection of poems and photographs of Ilfracombe in Ilfracombe. Contracts have been signed and 'apostrophe combe' is to be published by the Blue Chrome imprint, boho; followed by readings and signings in the south of the county in Paignton and Totnes. Although south is still more intention than actual plan.
