Riding into the sunset. Hi All,
I’ve been sending out flyers to local schools – trying to get a few assemblies lined up for Paddle Tail’s fall visits. Yes, I said fall…where did the summer go? I at least had a chance to go to my camp (at Lake Erie) and had a great time. Barb and I are not very good bikers…only take small trips on my motorcycle – around 15 miles max so far. We enjoyed riding the Jet Ski, and can’t wait to sail the seas again. Paddle Tail wants to ride both, but we talked him out of it – not sure what the police and coastguard would say if they suddenly saw a large beaver riding down the highway on the back of a motorcycle, or going across the bay of Lake Erie on a jet-ski, hmmm…. It would give people something to talk about. But getting Paddle Tail into a lifepreserver may be a bit of a problem. I don’t think the motorcycle helmet and goggles would go over well with him either… I’ll surely let you know if he talks me into taking him for a ride – and I’ll definitely get a few pictures of the event. Well, that’s about if for now. Don’t forget to check my site frequently. I’ll be adding new photos of Paddle Tail and I at a few more of our booksigning events. If you get a chance write and give Paddle Tail your oppinion – about riding on something with only two wheels, and a speed machine that flyes up on the tip of waves.
