It's a great time to be a poet 2/15/2005 7:00:27 AM
Poetry is gaining readership, mostly because of spoken word. But it's gaining readers also. I'm a newbie here on AuthorsDen.com. I started Feb 3rd this year, with a poem named "Secret," which I wrote on Feb 2nd. So there's a good chance that I'm reharrowing a seeded field. But it was a large surprise to find that the poetry catagory on AD leads all with 19327. I'm too new to know exatcly what that number is counting. The next catagory was relationships with 8948, Third was action thriller 8784, but some of these may have been because the poster did make a catagory selection and action thriller is the default selection. Inspirational was fourth at 7458 and humor was fifth with 5023.
So perhaps the best shot at writing something popular would be a poem about relationships? What do you think? s/Henry
