In my clinical pastoral practice I either use 5,000 year old Chinese medicine practices or cutting-edge research and technology. A specialty lab I am just beginning to use is called Spectracell. The test I find most fascinating there is a micronutrient test which measures the vitamins, minerals, antioxidents, etc. that we have in our body. This is not just a "snap shot in time" as is the case with most lab work, but measures the status of the above over several months by culturing white blood cells. More simply put, we can learn what life-style changes to make, what to eat, and / or what supplements to take this way, rather than guessing. Peace and good health to all. http://www.spectracell.com
