addendum to the "Lost Boy" 12/12/2007 6:40:18 PM
I posted a poem today, "Lost Boy". This is a shortened version of my day on this past Tuesday. The first thing I wish to say is that I really struggled with the title. I do not believe he is completely lost, just temporarily lost his way. I was trly scared and after all was done and I have time to reflect i am also deeply saddened. Don't get me wrong-I have had some really tough days with my kids, they are, after all, kids with emotional disturbances. It is however emotionally unnerving to think that you could have been involved in a real life disaster. I don't want to ramble except to say that this boy will be getting help-he won't see it that way at first but hopefully in time....
