Book signing a HUGE Success!!!!! 8/20/2006 5:37:06 AM
Hello everyone
Well I am pleased to report it was a greaet success - even the Manager of Borders was thrilled by the event.
I had my shocking pink carnations, sweets, postcards and business cards and the staff commented on how nice I do things.
Bookmarks weren't needed because I used my workshop promotional postcards instead so that worked brilliantly. I put one in every book saying that it would stop the wet ink ruining the book.
We sold 47 copies in the end and from 11am to 2pm I did not stop and also 20 people signed up for the workshop that they are hosting on the 31st so I'm really pleased.
But what I really loved was the people. It served to remind me why i do what I do. People sat and talked to me about the book and how every word in it was resonating with them and they were thrilled with the exercises because they have books such as the cosmic ordering and don't know what to do with it!! So I am really pleased.
Apparently the paper decided to do a two page spread on Thursday which I know nothing about so we have to track that down on Monday so thats great too!
