I am currently working on a story about the Firestone/Feuerstein origins. My family origins on my mother's side of the family is Firestone.
The purpose of this book is to provide the Firestones in America, whose forefathers came from the town of Berg & Thal in Alsace, France (formerly Germany) an awareness of their ancestrial lineage, a bit of history about the area in which they lived and the political conditions prevailing during that time. The reader will also learn about the region in Austria from where the Feuersteins came; why, how and when they went to Alsace. The Firestones can be proud of their ancestrial heritage whose origins included families of nobility, leadership and craftsmen.
