Special Foliage Festival Issue The past few blog entries have been information about the great town of Apopka, Florida. I have posted a slide show so readers can get a visual of this town, and I will be sharing from excerpts from the magazine that I publish. Most of my other blog entries have been on dreams, success and secrets to achieving your goals.
I am currently mentoring a few people in the area of pursuing their career goals in areas that will require them to be creative in preparation for launching the college or new job opportunity. This is truly the most gratifying experience I have ever had.
One person I am working with is a person who has purchased a franchise of Apopka My Town Magazine, the magazine that I publish. My little hometown magazine is going to another state and will be reproduced by another person who is not afraid to dream big!
Apopka My Town has sold a franchise in another growing area of the United States.
I am happy that my dream did not stop in Apopka, Florida. It is exciting to share with others how to follow their dreams too. The magazine is about more that just the ins and outs of teaching someone the publishing business, its about teaching them the dreaming business.
Apopka My Town was a dream, a dream that woke me up in the middle of the night. From that moment on, I pursued this dream relentlessly and in spite of many obstacles. As I have mentioned in past entries, the strong and the successful never give up making their dreams come true. You too can have this same success.
The true rewards from my efforts are having the opportunity to share with others words of hope, encouragement, excitement and enthusiasm to start living to be successful. Success is not measured by just money and material wealth. There is wealth that is long lasting, and that is the wealth you receive by sharing your story of success with others.
I encourage you today, if you are someone who has accomplished your goals and dreams, find someone to share this with. There are so many people waiting to hear. Don't keep it to yourself. Sharing yourself is a great gift to give away.
