Everything to charity...? People sit stuff on the side of the road better than my stuff...I am frequently and actively involved with some of the homeless crowd here in California...And I have yet to meet one California native who is displaced...for any reason. People come here from every where, Because aid to the homeless,is a one time check for $1000.00
That's only one reason why I don't discuss religion nor politics. Another is I know nothing about either...
Instead I continue packing boxes and boxes of stuff - that even I now call crap - and carting it off to the thrift stores in my neighborhood, Hoping someone will consider it treasure...
Occasionally I pause to try to figure out how to keep some thing I hate to be without...Yet don't really need...
Still wrestling with my materialistic streak, self taught in 2003.
I used to pride myself with organizational skills that amounted to: If I don't use it, I don't keep it.
Present day observation: Poets - Me - are slobs,
There is paper everywhere. A pile of poems waiting to be sorted,packaged and sent. Pictures needing to be printed,
Invoices that should have went out the 31st of last month.
I am anxious only for the day - this is never gonna happen - that I utter the words that drive me crazy"I'm Bored" I still sit in awe...Who the hell has time to be bored...?
