My book project has become a quest for donations to the Cancer Society in memory of my wife. Hi all!
Before I finished writing We The People, I knew I wanted to donate all the proceeds to Cancer research. It didn't seem to be an easy thing to do.
I contacted the Society with the idea but they were unable to help me get published. I was hoping they had other writers/publishers with similar goals.
Finally, I decided the best thing to do was to publish myself and just donate the royalties. That's the money left over after you pay the print costs.
At the last moment it occured to me that each book could by itself generate donations. All I had to do was ask the readers to make donations to their own local chapters and give the book to someone else to read. Voila !
