Someone that she knows will not stop protecting her. Reed Baker. He is everything she dreamed of if she lived in a normal place and if she were actually normal without this psychic gift. She didn’t ask for it yet she has it. Every time she is near someone she see’s the after part. This is the part where she wishes with all her might it won’t happen. She is not sure how it happened but somehow Reed has come to mean so much to her. Jessica Christ knows that if she stays a little bit longer in his home they would both die. The killer is near and he is not stopping until her blood is on him.
Reed Baker knows he shouldn’t bring strangers into his home. Especially a stranger like Jessica Christ who seems to be running from the law. This is just great timing and a great way for his parole officer to put him back in jail. Years in jail for something he didn’t mean to have changed him. Gone was the laughter from his eyes and now there is doubt, worry and most of all has left him weary of all good things in his life. Jessica is definitely one distraction he didn’t count on meeting when somehow she crashes into his life. Now that they are together he will fight anyone who wants her. As an ex-con Reed knows how to fight but can he protect Jessica when she needs it. Will he run away from love?
Oh my god I am so excited that Robin has a new book release out. Not only is she talented but this author has a clever, devious and scintillating imagination. Jessica Christ is not your usual heroine. She is on the run for someone so devil like wants her dead. Robin Leigh somehow created this heroine who yes is on the run but wants love so badly in her life that she is willing to sacrifice her own life to spare a loved one. The heartache she goes through is painful and the villain oh so deadly. Now Reed, man this is not your usual hero. He is tough, an ex-con and yet he has a gentle tender side of him not many people see. This book has it all, suspense, action, murder and let me tell you those scenes are gruesome but this is just part of Robin’s devious mind. Like I said before she is like a second J.D. Robb a.k.a Nora Roberts with tons of thrilling story lines with action, murder and characters that are unbelievable. Robin Leigh Miller is definitely an author you need to keep an eye.
