Since I have been writing the novelization of my short story THIRST, I playfully told my hair stylist to put two purple streaks in my hair; one to frame my face, and one just forward of my right ear, so I could see and enjoy. The first time the results were spectacular! I felt like Anne Rice!!
This is the 3rd time to put highlights and redo my purple streaks. I went to the movies Saturday and went to the bathroom and in the lights, there were my 'purple highlights' - only they were a weird green!!
I called my hair dresser for a rescue and she redid the purple, and it turned bright crayon green that looked like it had sparkles in it!!
The hair dresser and another hair dresser spent the next two hours trying to figure out 1) why my hair kept turning green no matter what they did and 2) with everything they were doing to my hair, why hadn't it frizzed and/or broken off???
They put some dark stuff and there is still green, but they told me to come back and be set to be there three hours + to correct!!!!!
To tell you the truth, I don't think that I am going back.
Maybe it's good to be green, and I'll get used to it, until it fades or grows out.
One hopes one doesn't come up to me asking about my green hair, or ask what religion am I?
My hair and their chemicals didn't mix, and my hair won!
I now have three big green streaks in my hair, with partial purple and blonde and brunette hair!
