SF Oil Spill & Ensuing Mess 11/13/2007 10:16:45 AM
Oil and water don't mix,we all know that! Neither does economic gain, and a pristen enviornment, untouched by humans. Horrible as it is, oil in the water is the cost of doing buisness, and all we can do is lessen the harm, and likelyhood of it's occurance. While politicians line up on the beach wringing there hands, trying to make politcal hay. Hopefully, this unpleasent mess dosen't lead us down the road to more kneejerk over reaction from over zealous save the world people, and we can think normally. Someone suggested in a write in letter to the chronicle that the San Francisco fire department should have gotten involved...can you beleive it?
