I'm a new member to AuthorsDen but I'm glad that I found this site because I love telling others about what I do. My Authentic Soul is my personal testimony of years of agony, joy, blinding fear, and unyielding faith. Going through all that I have in my life, I don't see how I could have made it without the help of the Lord. There are many times I look back and wonder how I came out of situations. Even now, I find myself thanking Him daily for taking me out of many things, even though it was painful to leave them at times. God knew what He was doing and knew that He meant everything for my good. I can't even begin to tell you how many years of regret and pain continuously wash over me when I think about some of the things I have gone through. These things still cut me to my core today. There are times, including right now as I write this, that all I want to do is break down and cry from sadness, from frustration. But that is why I have writing, and that is why I have you, an audience, to tell these things to. Moreover, that is why I have God. So many times, when no one else around me seems to understand my tears and moans, God does. He knows exactly what I'm feeling and is just waiting for me to tell Him. God gives me peace and comfort where I am right now, but I want to be more and do more--I just don't want to remain in the same place forever. I don't even know where any of this is coming from right now, but I'm telling you, even if you feel like everything is crashing down around you and you are at your lowest point--keep looking up. God has not forgotten about you because He loves you and has promised the best for you. But you have to remain in faith and you have to stay active doing what He wants you to do in order to receive His blessings. These are just some of the messages in My Authentic Soul, and I hope that you will find something in my book that touches you and inspires you to reach your fullest potential in Jesus Christ.
