Do we have the right? Does she have the right? Do we really have the right to take her babies? I personally don't think we do. If she hasn't harmed the children by not feeding them by abusing them or by not giving them love and affection, who are we to assume she will not be a good enough mother? The 6 she has at home are in good health and on the brief clippings of her with the 6 at home they seem to love her and vise versa. If we start to take children away from mothers due to them being unwed or poor then we would have to knock on more doors than just hers. So what if she isn't married. Marriage doesn't mean you will be a good parent. Their are tons of families out there that get their children taken away that are married. Abused children come form all sorts of families. This is ridiculous to me! Now if she does do something to harm the children then we should step in otherwise we are allowing the media to decide if she is a good mother only on what they decide to headline. Facts speak louder, do we have the facts? Other than she as 6 at home with 8 coming. Why would we give help to the families that have two parents and never bat an eye at their ability to support the children yet when we hear about a single mother we automatically find fault. I agree she shouldn’t have had this many eggs implanted but who do we really blame? In my eyes it should be the doctor and his morals more so than the mothers. Yes she will need help and we should help her not by taking her children. there isn’t a law in the united states that tells us how many children we can have, do you really want the government to have this control? Her mother is obviously abusive if you ask me. What mother gets on national television and tells the world her daughters laundry.
I believe she has the right to keep her children until she cant give them what they need. Just because she is poor is no excuse to take her kids. Just because her house is about to be foreclosed on (which is actually her mothers, or did we forget she lives with her) is no reason either. The economy has several parents in limbo of losing their homes, do we remove their children too? Look at the bigger picture here. What do you really think about this and what the media is telling?
