I have decided to change the genre that I write poetry in from Romance to anything but...I have based this decision from many years of battling within myself to write in a style that would benefit my readers but I have found little evidence that this has been a beneficial step for me as it seems I have been writing in a genre (Romance-Erotica)that I no longer feel appeals to the reader. I have seen a 500% increase in spiritual-inspirational writers but I am not truly suited for that kind of material and I find there is more than a great supply there already. I am not one to write of nature as I love nature and all that the Creator offers but I am not inspired enough to write in that vein for too long...so that is out as well. I have posted the last of my romance-erotica poems for now and the next piece I post shall be a slightly different genre as I test the waters and see the kind of reception I get from it. If I start posting garbage then please know I will quit writing from then on.
