Well the art show was last Saturday and it was a great success. Quite a few people came (they had to add chairs) and they loved the poems I have read!
They were also excited to hear that I have a book in the making. six people have signed my waiting list!!! (a list for those who would like to get an announcement for the release date of my book, more info about it and even an order form) dozens others took my business card.
After talking to the organizer of the event at that library, she agreed to have me do a book signing there once my book comes out.
So all in all- successful day!
Other than that- I was invited (by someone who attended the poetry reading and really liked my poems) to speak at a big conference as part of a panel of speakers and I was very happy about that.
Things sure seem to fall into place!
